Wow – what a summer! Between marriages, Just for Laughs, U2 concerts, and the Osheaga festival, life has been very busy.
Add in the fact that I’ve been working hard writing for The All Habs Network and interviewing Brian Wilde from CTV, I’m sure you can understand how I’ve been overwhelmed. After all – I do still have a day job!
But one thing that I’ve wanted to do over the off season for all the BBBR readers out there, is open up the floodgates and find out what member of your Montreal Canadiens you’d like to know more about.
So I’m reaching out to all of you and asking this question. If there was one player on the current franchise roster that you’d like a deeper look at, who would it be?

I gotta say Scott Gomez, Iain! Others I’ve seen on ‘Your Canadiens’ and some are just so open that we know a lot anyway (Cammy and Subban…lol) Gomez is quietly funny and I’d love to see more about his off-season, what he does in his free time, music, food…the basics… 🙂
There is definitely a fun side to Scott that would be interesting to check out. And since he’s Mr Controversy … may be a good choice!

Hm … yes. I like him as a choice too. Did you see the piece on him on “Nos Canadiens”?
I’d say Hal Gill, just to see what can come up in terms of weird expressions and interesting stories he may have to tell.
Solid choice. There’s something about Gill that is so intriguing. I saw him on “Nos Canadiens” and really liked what I saw. Real genuine solid man. Great with his family. And like me – he doesn’t feel the cold … that alone makes him a winner in my books 😉
