The Hiatus Is Over

Written By: Iain Carnegie, BBBR

It’s been pretty quiet around here at BBBR over the past six months, but not without reason. In what seems to be one of the busiest off-season’s that the Habs have had in the past few years, you would think that my fingers would be pounding the keyboard daily to get the news and analysis out.

Unfortunately, that wasn’t to be. As many of you will know, we’ve been awaiting the highly anticipated arrival of the newest Habs fan to the BBBR team, and I’m proud to announce that she joined us just a week ago on August 15th.

A new baby in the household has kept us extremely busy here with some new and different priorities. But as we begin to settle in as a new family, it’s time for me to turn my attention (as much as possible) back to my other family. Habs fans and avid readers of this site.

Over the course of the next two weeks, I hope you’ll join us as BBBR presents a four part series looking back on some of the changes that have occurred during the off season, preview the upcoming line-up for the 2012-2013 season, and analyze how well the Montreal Canadiens made out in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.

Thanks to all of you for your patience during the hiatus, and thanks to all those who have sent best wishes for our new little girl.

Now it’s back to the business of hockey, and the joy of the Montreal Canadiens glorious franchise.
